Description

The Analyst, Charter Sales will be the first point of contact for the customer. Primary focus will be to manage the quoting and contracting process, communicating with team members to ensure the operation can support all aspects of the charter request, and providing guidance to the customer throughout the sales process. They will also assist with monitoring the financial performance and building and distributing charter flight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Generate charter quotes utilizing existing price building tools.
• Maintain pricing database to evaluate changes in the charter market and be able to identify the need for pricing actions based on market trends.
• Work closely with schedule planning to review availability prior to contracting, provide updated charter schedule identifying new trips and schedules changes, and review for accuracy prior to crew bids.
• Communicate with all departments throughout charter approval process prior to contract execution.
• Generate new customer contracts and manage data input into master charter schedule.
• Monitor contract status and work closely with accounting to track charter payments.
• Track all customer service related and contracted items and verify schedules to ensure accurate turnover to charter operations team.
• Work closely with Manager, Charter operations as needed to identify and source third party vendors to support charter activity.
• Assist with tracking contract vendor costs and charter close outs.
• Help prepare operating statistics and forecast revenue for the annual budget plan.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a business or a highly quantitative discipline
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as database querying
• Airline industry required, charter experience preferred.
• Have exceptional client-service and communication skills
• Be able to work independently within a fast-paced environment
• Be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills with ability to deliver arguments clearly and confidently
• Relocating to Houston, TX is a preference
